LEISD Food Drive for Little Elm Area Food Bank
Trying to Break Last Year’s Record of 21,000 pounds!
This year’s food drive, benefitting Little Elm Area Food Bank, begins Monday! The theme our LEHS Marketing students have created is… We Need Your Scooby Snacks! Last year, our students calculated that if every student and staff member collected or donated a minimum of one can-a-day for the ten-day campaign we would far surpass our goal – and we did! In fact, we collected more than 21,000 pounds of food! (Nearly three tons more than we ever collected!)
The LEISD campaign is the largest annual food drive on behalf of the Little Elm Area Food Bank. Please help us beat our record from last year! Bring one can a day, or two, or 400! Every can makes a difference!
The campaign runs from Monday, October 17 through Friday, October 28. The Community is welcome to drop off canned and non-perishable food items at any LEISD School Campus. Please help us make a difference for our Little Elm Area neighbors!
