Little Elm ISD continues to make meaningful progress, with student growth and achievement driving improvements across the District.
The District earned an overall accountability rating of 78, placing it just two points away from a “B” rating. The District also earned a “B” in Student Achievement, reflecting continued progress in helping students reach higher levels of academic success.

Brent Elementary students recently stepped into the world of engineering and problem-solving when the Texas Education Agency’s Mobile STEM Lab visited campus for two days of hands-on learning experiences.

Little Elm ISD has once again been named one of the nation’s Best Communities for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation, marking the district’s fifth consecutive year receiving this prestigious honor.

Little Elm ISD announces the retirement of Athletic Director Michael Young after five years of leadership in the District. With a career spanning more than three decades in public education, Young leaves behind a legacy of growth, progress, and pride in Lobo athletics.

For the first time in school history, the Little Elm High School boys basketball team has done what no other athletic program has accomplished before—bringing home a state championship. This story isn’t just about the final score in San Antonio—it’s about the journey from day one, and the belief that helped a team build something from the ground up.
