Hello Lobos! Welcome to my class!  I'm originally from Waco, Texas.  I graduated from Baylor University where I received a scholarship to play basketball and throw discus. No, I was not on the National Championship team, but I was there in spirit!!  I have a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree in Marketing, and a Master's of Science in Education degree in the area of Sport Management.  

I currently hold certifications in both Business and Marketing.  I have taught a plethora of business and marketing classes.  In addition, I also coached Varsity and Sub-Varsity basketball and track for over 10 years.  So often at times, you will hear me at your games "coaching"from the stands! 🤪. After my 10th year of coaching,  I decided to focus on teaching in order to spend more time with family!  Speaking of family!  I have a son (Bralen,15), a daughter (Ryann, 7), and a miniature poodle named Big Boy! (Yes, that is his actual name; don't judge!) 

I'm really excited to meet all of my students and be able to build relationships within LEISD.  I look forward to partnering with staff, students, parents, and professionals in order to Engage, Equip, and Empower those within our community.
