I am so excited to be teaching 3rd Grade ELAR this year.  I can’t wait to share my love of books and writing with all my students.

I have a B.A. from Hope College with a major in English.  I am originally from Michigan but have been in Texas for almost 20 years.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, who is also a teacher at Lakeview Elementary.  We have three amazing daughters; Emily, Isabella and Ellory. I also have 4 pets; a dog named Bambi, a snake named Blaze, a bearded dragon, who sometimes comes to school named Tazman, and a hongose snake named Oliver!  I enjoy reading, movies, coffee, and shopping!  My favorite color is pink.  I am looking forward to a fantastic year at Lakeview with my 3rd grade Superstars!
