My name is Monica Schooler and I am a 6-8th grade BASE (Behavior, Academic, Social, Emotional) teacher at Strike Middle School. This will be my sixth year in education and my third year working in LEISD. 

I was born in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from Wright State University with a B.A. in History. After graduating, my husband and I relocated to Aurora, IL. There, we had our only child, Chris. We lived in Aurora for eight years before moving to Little Elm.

I enjoy travelling, shopping (of course), reading, and spending the weekends with my family watching movies and playing board games.  

Teaching is my passion and I am so honored to serve the youth in my community. I am looking forward to an awesome school year. Strike Strong, Go Lobos!
