Mr. Charles Smith

Hello!  I was born and raised in Texas and have lived most of my life here in the DFW Metroplex.  I grew up in Arlington but relocated to the Little Elm area in 2010 to start my family.  I have three daughters, Emily, Isabella, and Ellory, who keep me very busy!  In my previous life (before teaching), I served in the United State Marine Corps, the Texas Army National Guard, and spent 24 years in public service as a police officer and assistant city manager.

A few things I enjoy outside of teaching are riding motorcycles, boating, and traveling with my family.

A couple of fun facts about Mr. C is I speak a little (very little) Russian, or "Я немного говорю по русски", and my wife is also a teacher at Lakeview.

I'm extremely excited to see all the kiddos this year!  I think we are all ready learn and have fun, and make this a great year of fond memories!
