Hi! My name is Tina Fillebrown and I'm excited to teach Kindergarten at Prestwick Elementary. I have had the pleasure of substituting and tutoring there for the past couple years. Here is a little bit about myself. I grew up in Illinois. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Whitewater in 1998 and earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. I received my Masters of Arts Degree in Education in 2006 from St. Xaviers University. I taught Elementary K-2 for 15 years from 1999-2015. In 2015, we moved to Texas where I stayed home with my children. I have an amazing husband and three beautiful children. My passions are photography, reading, running, and traveling with my family. I love teaching because it makes me feel like I can make a difference in a child's life. Teachers can have a lasting impression. Kindergarten is such a special year, and I feel so blessed to be a part of it. My main goals are for students to feel successful and to LOVE learning!
