The Little Elm ISD Independent Community Review Committee is composed of parents, community members, and students. The purpose of the committee is to examine Little Elm ISD’s policies, practices, and procedures for dealing with issues involving sexual misconduct and related issues at the District.
Members were selected from more than 300 volunteers who were categorized to create a pool of applicants that represent the diverse community we serve. Members of the committee 16 women and 14 men who collectively have 24 female and 16 male students attending a school in the District. Additionally, students will also serve on this committee to provide their perspectives and experiences are represented.
Facilitators will help organize the process to assure that everyone’s voice is heard and the committee has relevant information on current policies, applicable state, and federal laws, and other issues that impact how the District deals with misconduct issues. It is our goal the committee will identify areas where we are doing well and areas for improvement.
