Ms. Hilary Chaney - 3rd Grade

 
I am Hilary Chaney.  I am one of the 3rd Grade teachers at Lakeview Elementary.  I graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies in Education with an emphasis in Mathematics. This is my eightteenth year to teach for Little Elm ISD at Lakeview Elementary. I am really excited to see what amazing things we accomplish together. 
 
I am passionate about helping students reach their learning goals.  I LOVE those "light bulb" moments when students make connections. Go Lakeview Lobos! 
 
I was the Math & Science specialist on our campus for 8 years, so I have lots of tools and strategies to help each child find success and LOVE learning. I am confident that this will be a year to remember for me and each student in my class, and I am truly looking forward to learning more about each student and his or her famiLE this year.
 
I have one son named Jace.  He is ten and he is so much fun.  He really makes every day an adventure. We enjoy spending time boating together and traveling as a family.  He loves to read books about animals, and it is such a special time to enjoy reading books with him.  We just added a new fun addition to our famiLE. We rescued a Yorkie named Baxter.  He is pretty cute!!
 
I am available for parent conferences during my planning time from 10:35 - 11:25  Please call ahead to schedule if you would like to meet with me. One of the easiest ways to get in touch with me is by sending a message through the Class Dojo app as well.

    I am here to help.  My planning time is 10:35 to 11:25 Monday - Friday, but I am not available every day.  I work closely with my teammates and instructional staff to meet the needs of my students.  Please allow a 24 hour response time to return communication.  If you would like to request a parent conference, please email me with your child's name, your phone number, and the reason for your request so that I can schedule a time for us to meet.
