WELCOME TO MY PAGE!!  

My name is Lisa Routt and I am the dyslexia therapist for Lakeview Elementary.  I came to Lakeview Elementary in 2014-2015, but I have been teaching in LEISD since 2001.   I began my teaching career at Dallas ISD in 1998 and taught there for 3 years.  Coming to LEISD was like coming home.  I taught in the classroom for 2 years, and then an opportunity for teaching reading as well dyslexia opened up.  I truly love working with students who are struggling with reading and seeing them grow and gain confidence in themselves.

I have been married since January 29, 2000 to my husband, David. We are the proud parents of 3 wonderful children; Phillip (LEISD graduate 2011), Blaine (LEISD graduate 2014), and Emily (LEISD graduate 2019).  In my spare time I enjoy spoiling my 3 grandchildren, reading books, spending time with family & friends and traveling.  I'm also trying to learn something new, crochet.  I enjoy cooking, baking and decorating cakes and cookies.
