Mr. Stephen Richardson

After graduating from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, I spent 12 Years in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD. While in GCISD, I received my Master Degree from Lamar University in Beaumont in Educational Leadership. I served many roles in the district from teacher, coach, and Assistant Principal. This will be my 4th year in LEISD, serving as the Assistant Principal the my first two years and now moving into my second year as Principal at Hackberry.

My time in Education, I’ve always had a desire to learn and keep up to date with high-evidenced based strategies. I love to be innovative and creative in the ways we choose to engage students in learning. I am currently working toward my Doctoral Degree at Walden University with a focus in Education Leadership. I believe that all children can learn. I believe that with hard work and perseverance we can ensure all students are successful. I truly believe the best part of my job is seeing students in action when visiting the classrooms. I get to know every student and every student gets to know me. I feel blessed to be the Principal of this wonderful school! I’m looking forward to a great 2018-2019 school year!
