New Guest Teacher Application Process

  • If your application does not meet the above criteria, you will not be contacted.

Senate Bill 9 (2008) requires that all substitute teachers submit digital fingerprints for a criminal history review. The Teaxas Education Agency (TEA) has contracted with Morpho-Trust as an approved DPS vendor to complete the fingerprinting process for the state of Texas. The District will procure a fingerprint pass from TEA for each applicant, which will be emailed to the email address used on the job application. The email will be generated from Morpho-Trust/IdentoGO. Please be sure to check your Spam or Junk folder for this email. The substitute will then make an appointment to be fingerprinted. Fingerprint results will be sent to the District electronically. The applicant will be responsible for the cost of the fingerprint services (ranging between $38.25 and $50.28) dependent upon certification status.

*If you have have an ecisting fingerprint record in the state of Texas that meets the requirements for education purposes, we will e-mail you an invitation to attend mandatory Substitute Orientation.*

Once Human Resources receives your fingerprinting results, we will contact you via e-mail through TalentEd with an invitation to attend mandatory Substitute Orientation.
