Assistant Superintendent for Human Resource and Student Services972.947.9340 ext. 10103Cleota Epps serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resource and Student Services. Epps joined Little Elm ISD in 2004 and has served in a variety of roles over the years including secondary teacher, campus administrator, and central office support. She has been a leader in the Human Resource Services department since 2012. Epps holds the highly regarded Professional Human Capital Leader in Education (pHCLE) certification - a national human capital certification which can be earned by those who practice and lead human resources in PK-12 education. Epps has served as an officer of the North Central Texas Association of School Personnel Administrators (NCTASPA) since 2016. Ms. Epps supports the promotion of the teaching profession by serving on the scholarship committee for the Texas Association of School Personnel Administrators (TASPA), the state organization, and the professional development committee for the American Association of School Personnel Administrators (AASPA), the national organization.
Prior to joining Little Elm ISD, Epps was the founder and CEO of International Language, Inc., Apple Valley, MN. Epps holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas and a Bachelor's degree in French and Spanish from St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota. Epps and her husband have two daughters, both Little Elm graduates, who have gone on to complete their graduate work and are now pursuing careers.
