Mallory Miner-Selby, Director

I have a long career in dance which includes over 27 years of studio training and a Bachelor’s degree in Dance from the University of North Texas. As an East Texas native, my drill team experience started in high school where I was a member of the Whitehouse First Ladies Drill Team, serving as a Junior Officer and Captain my senior year. I continue to choreograph for numerous teams in the DFW area, specializing in Novelty and Pom. Additionally, I am an Instructional Staff Member for American Dance/Drill Team School and have been on staff for the past 11 years teaching summer camps and judging competitions in the spring.  Prior to coming to Little Elm, I spent three years in Plano ISD at Shepton High School as the Assistant Director of the Stallionettes. This is my fourth year serving as Director of the Little Elm High School Blue Angels.

Outside of dance and drill team, I am an active alumni of the Terry Foundation. The Terry Foundation funds the largest privately funded scholarship in the state of Texas. I serve as an alumni officer for our DFW organization, specifically in the role of the Liaison for UNT and TWU and have previously served on the Alumni Advisory Board.

I have a spunky Jack Russell mix named Riley and two adorable cats, Simba and Oliver.

Dance and Drill Team have always been an important part of my life, and they have shaped the person I have become. I’m humbled to have this opportunity to share my passion for teaching dance with the students of Little Elm High School!
