Welcome to 5th Grade at Brent Elementary!

My name is Courtney Ellis and I am teaching 5th Grade ELAR and Social Studies. This will be my 7th year teaching and my 1st year at Brent Elementary! I am so excited to be joining such an amazing team of educators at the best district in Texas. I previously taught 8th Grade Science in Richardson ISD and 4th, 3rd, and 1st grade in Frisco ISD. I was born and raised in Dallas and moved to Little Elm in 2015. I have two sons that are 5 and 8. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my boys, reading, and playing video games! I have a passion for education and a love of technology! I am always looking for opportunities to enhance student learning through the integration of technology. I am excited to utilize this skill to build reading and writing abilities within my students. I look forward to an incredible year!
