Ms. Yvette Bernal - 3rd Grade; English Reading and Math
Hello!
I have been teaching since 2005 and always at the Elementary level. I've taught Kindergarten, 4th grade, and 3rd Grade. I'm happy to be a "part of the Pack" and even have a dog that looks like our white lobo! I think it was destiny!
I have three adult children and two dogs, whom I use as examples in my teaching, so your child will get to know my family quite well.
I graduated high school from Newman Smith in Carrollon/Farmers Branch ISD. I then attended Texas Tech University but graduated from the University of North Texas. I was born in Alabama so I Roll Tide! and make amazing sweet tea! Alabama football will also be a common example in my teaching! Sorry, not sorry.
Thank you for sharing your child with me. I look forward to us working together to make his/her school year amazing!
I look forward to meeting you and your child/ren so my sentences can be more about "we" and less about "I."
