Hello! My name is Yesenia Gonzalez and I will be teaching 2nd grade Math & Science at Chavez Elementary. I have been teaching since 2014 and starting my journey as a Lobo this year! I graduated from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in May of 2014 with a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies for grade EC-6 and also have a certification in ESL. I am currently attending graduate school at UTPB as well to get a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I recently got engaged earlier this year and happy to be in the DFW area with my fiance. I am very excited to be a Lobo at Chavez and am looking forward to teaching here in Little Elm!
