Welcome to Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies in 5th grade! 

 

This is my 19th year of teaching, my 14th in the district, and my 10th at Chavez. I graduated from Howard Payne University with a degree in Elementary Education. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 31 years. We have two adult children and two grandchildren.

 

Some of my favorite things are spending time with my family, traveling, Starbucks (cold brew coffee and blended strawberry lemonade), cooking, learning about history, and my favorite color is blue.
