Hello!  My name is Kim Carver and I am the Reading Specialist at Oak Point.  My family and I absolutely love living in Little Elm.  Our oldest son is a high school Lobo and our youngest son is an elementary school Lobo!

This is my 21st year teaching.  I taught for 12 years in Colorado, 1 year in Dallas, and 7 years in Little Elm.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Bilingual Education (from the University of Northern Colorado) and a Master's degree in Reading and Writing Instruction (from the University of Colorado).  I am also proud to be a National Board Certified Teacher in Reading and a Recognized Teacher through TEA.

I am so excited to work with Oak Point readers this year!
