Hi Brent families,

My name is Wendy Márquez. I was born and raised in Venezuela and moved to the states 2003. I live in Frisco with my husband, our two children, and our dog. We really enjoy going the beach every time we can and going to the movies on the weekends.

I have my bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from The National Experimental University of the Armed Forces in Venezuela (UNEFA) and a master’s degree in International Business from the University of Texas at Dallas. I obtained my teaching certification through the Region 10’s alternative teaching certification program. I have a Bilingual Generalist EC-6 certification and Language Other than English (LOTE) EC-12 Certification.

I want to let you know that my classroom will be a save learning environment where students will express their creativity, put into practice what they have learned, and be challenged to reach their full potential.

Mi nombre es Wendy Márquez. Yo nací y crecí en Venezuela y me mudé a los Estados Unidos en 2003. Vivo en Frisco con mi esposo, nuestros dos hijos y nuestro perro. Nosotros disfrutamos de ir a la playa cada vez que podemos e ir al cine los fines de semana.

Yo tengo mi licenciatura en Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Nacional Experimental de las Fuerzas Armadas en Venezuela (UNEFA) y una maestría en Negocios Internacionales de la Universidad de Texas en Dallas. Obtuve mi certificación docente a través del programa de certificación de enseñanza alternativa de la Región 10. Tengo una certificación bilingüe, Bilingual Generalist EC-6 y Language Other that English (LOTE) EC-12.

Quiero hacerles saber que mi aula será un entorno de aprendizaje seguro en donde los estudiantes expresarán su creatividad, pondrán en práctica lo que han aprendido y se enfrentarán al desafío de alcanzar su máximo potencial.
