Greetings and welcome to my page! My name is Maria Carrillo and this is my 7th year teaching at Oak Point Elementary. I was born in Chicago, IL and like many of my students, I did not speak English when I started school. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Sociology. I've worked in various positions throughout the years but always with families and children of all ages. This year I will be teaching Math and Science.
