Bienvenidos a la clase del Lenguaje Dual de 3er grado en la primaria Brent. 

Mi nombre es Ericka Torre y tendré la fortuna de ser la maestra de sus estudiantes este ciclo escolar. Es un honor poder formar parte del increíble distrito escolar que es Little Elm ISD y se siente como regresar a casa.

Yo soy originaria de la Ciudad de Mexico y me vine a vivir a Little Elm en el 2004 para continuar mi educación en la preparatoria. Me gradué de Little Elm High School en el 2007 y luego recibí mi Licenciatura en Administracion de Empresas Turísticas y Gastronómicas (Hospitality Management) de University of North Texas en el 2011. Trabaje en la parte administrativa de educación y recibí mi certificación de maestra con un programa alterno Texas Teachers. He sido maestra de 2ndo y 3er grado en la Primaria Brent, y este año seré la maestra de su estudiante y estoy muy emocionada.

Tengo dos hermosas hijas Victoria y Danika. Las dos asisten a Brent en el programa Dual. Disfruto pasar tiempo con mi familia, siendo voluntaria con jóvenes en diferentes eventos y ocasionalmente tocar la batería en un coro en la iglesia.

Este ciclo escolar será increíble y aprenderemos mucho divirtiéndonos.

Welcome to the 3rd grade dual-language class at Brent Elementary.

My name is Ericka Torre and I am fortunate to be your student's teacher this school year. It is an honor to be part of this great school district that is Little Elm ISD and it feels like coming back home.

I am originally from Mexico City and I moved to Little Elm in 2004 to continue high school. I graduated from Little Elm High School in 2007 so I have been a lobo for years. I received my bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from the University of North Texas in 2011. I worked in the administrative area in education for 4 years and later received my teaching certification through an alternative certification program " Texas Teachers". I have been a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher and I will be your student's teacher this year, which I am excited about.

I have 2 beautiful daughters, Victoria and Danika. Both attend Brent Elementary and are on the Dual Language program. I enjoy spending time with my family, volunteering at different youth events and occasionally playing the drums in a church choir.

This school year will be incredible and we will learn a lot having fun.
