Mr. Cooper Foutz - Technical Theatre
Cooper Foutz is the Director of Technical Theatre at Little Elm High School. He is a twice over graduate from the University of North Texas. He has his Bachelor of Science in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in technical theatre, and advanced coursework in Costume Design, and Costume Construction. He also graduated from UNT with his Masters of Education in Teaching. Cooper is a native born Texas who grew up in the Central Texas area before moving to Denton in 2010 to attend UNT. He has two passions, theatre, and volleyball, and is glad for the opportunity to do both at Little Elm High School. He also loves spending time with his family, and friends, above most other things.
Cooper costume designed Marisol, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Fefu and Her Friends, Stage Kiss, and HAIR during his time at UNT. He has been the assistant costume designer for shows in the DFW metroplex, as well as worked on the costume construction team at Dallas Shakespeare.
Cooper is also the freshman volleyball coach at LEHS. Coach Foutz has loved volleyball all of his life, and began to play it competitively at UNT when he was a libero/defensive specialist for the men's club team. About 6 years ago, Foutz began to coach competitive club volleyball. He's excited to have the opportunity to better the volleyball program in Little Elm, and to get to mentor another group of young athletes.
