I am thrilled to be the Library Media Specialist at Brent Elementary! I have been in the field of education for over twenty years. My husband and I have two wonderful girls - one daughter in high school and one daughter in college.

I have been an educator in both Georgia and Texas.  We returned back to my Lone Star home state from the Atlanta area a few years ago, and it is awesome to be back near family! As an elementary educator my experience includes Library Media Specialist/Librarian, as well as experience as a classroom teacher. I earned my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Abilene Christian University.  Also, I obtained a Master's Level Library Media Specialist Certification from Georgia State University and an Education Specialist Degree from Piedmont College. As you can see, I am a life-long learner! I also believe that all students have the potential to learn! I especially enjoy seeing students get that light in their eyes when they catch what I call, "the reading bug"!  It is my mission to help your child become a life-long reader!

I am SO excited to work with your children, and to be a part of the Brent Lobo FamiLE! Looking forward to a fantastic year!
