Mrs. Kathryn Silvis

Welcome to 5th Grade! I am so excited to be your teacher at Oak Point. I have been at OPE since 2018, and I am so happy to be part of Little Elm ISD. Before joining OPE, I worked in McKinney ISD for three years. 

I will be your 5th grade ELAR and Social Studies teacher this year, and I am very excited to share my passion for reading and history. 
 
I currently live in Little Elm with my husband Nick and our three children. Nick and I met at James Madison University in Virginia and have been together for 16 years! Our daughter, Madison, is six years old, our son Jackson, is 4 years old, and Elizabeth is one year old. They keep us busy!

I attended James Madison University and received my Bachelors of Science. While there, I was also a member of Delta Gamma. 

I can't wait to teach you this year, and to help you have a great final year at Oak Point Elementary.
