Hello, I am so excited to have you in my class this year! This will be my sixth year of teaching, but my fourth year here at Little Elm. Previously, I taught math at an alternative high school and a DAEP program. This year I'll be teaching Pre-AP Algebra and On-Level Math for 8th graders. Middle school is my favorite age group to work with. I lucked out with all of you here! 

A little backstory: I grew up in south Texas near the border and South Padre. I have four brothers who taught me great...patience. I graduated from North Texas with my Mechanical and Energy Engineering degree in 2015. However, I knew I wanted to teach. Upon graduating, I immediately entered a Master's program so I could be taught how to teach. While doing grad school, I subbed for Denton ISD at almost every campus and grade level. My only child is my cat Cheeto. I enjoy reading, yoga, and playing video games (PC only).

I am very passionate about math and aim to equip students with a higher degree of confidence in their own math abilities. I will do everything in my power to ENGAGE, EQUIP, and EMPOWER every learner who walks through my door.
