Mrs. Pamela Ellis
Welcome! My name is Mrs. Pamela Ellis and I am a BASE special education teacher at Brent Elementary that works with students in grades K-5. I graduated from University of North Texas in December of 2013. After graduating, I worked for Lewisville ISD, as a paraprofessional, in a life skills classroom for two years. I began working for Lake Dallas ISD, as an inclusion aide, the following year before becoming a special education teacher. My first teaching experience was in an Alternative Learning Environment and, during my second year, I taught Resource Math. I am so blessed and excited to begin my fourth year of teaching and my second year of teaching in the BASE classroom at Brent. I absolutley love building relationships with our students and families at Brent Elementary and look forward to the 2020-21 school year.
My husband, Ralph, and I have been happily married for 27 years. We have two teenagers, Cody and Chelsea, who attend high school. My son is beginning his first year at NCTC and my daughter is a junior in high school. We also have a furbaby, named Bear, who is an almost four-year old Havanese. He's the sweetest little guy and brings our family so much joy!
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and spending time outdoors. Photography, scrapbooking, reading, and going to the movies are also some of my favorite things to do.
We are going to have an amazing year! I look forward to all the growth your child will experience this year. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
