Mrs. Jessica Ross - English III and IV

Hello and welcome!  My name is Mrs. Ross, and I’ll be teaching English III and English IV this year at Little Elm High School.  I’ve been in education since 2015, and have previously taught various levels of English and Social Studies in the Carrollton-Farmer’s Branch ISD.  My husband, Ben, is also an educator. He teaches at a few of the local community colleges, and just received his PhD.  A growth mindset is important to us both, and that’s why we’ll probably both be students, as well as teachers, for the rest of our lives! We just love what we do :)

In 2013, I received a Master’s of Liberal Studies, with a concentration in creative writing.  Currently, I’m pursuing another Master’s degree - this time in Mental Health Counseling at Southern Methodist University.

When I'm not teaching or studying, I love to travel, rock climb, camp, and hike!  I’m looking forward to a great year at LEHS, and am so proud to be a part of the pack – GO LOBOS!!
