Ms. Chandler Smith
English II
Welcome!
I am a proud graduate of Little Elm High School and love that I get to teach at my Alma Mater. My family is a family of Lobos as my 3 younger siblings also graduated from LEHS. My mom is going into her 17th year working for LEISD and my brother is starting his first year teaching math at LEHS. In high school, I was a cheerleader and powerlifter, which are still two of my passions to this day. After high school, I went on to cheer at Blinn College and Sam Houston State University. I was also a Zeta Tau Alpha. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a B.A. in Mass Communication with an emphasis in multi-platform journalism.
Fun facts about me: I coach cheerleading part-time at Thunder Extreme in Denton. I have a personal training certification and love working out. I love to travel. I love photography and being creative. I have 3 dogs that I take way too many pictures of.
From a young age, my mom instilled a love for reading in me and it has forever stuck with me. I have a passion for reading and writing and can't wait to share that with my students this year!
My goal as a teacher is to empower my students, build relationships, help students make connections from what they're learning to their daily lives, help them realize they can do anything they set their mind and to make a difference in their lives.
Please reach out at any time if you have any questions or concerns!
