My name is Mandy Ball and I will be teaching in the Dual Language program in Kindergarten this year. 

I am a native Spanish speaker raised in Guatemala. This background has been sharpened by 22 years teaching elementary children in a bilingual classroom. My certifications include Bilingual Education and ESL (English as a Second Language), Spanish, and Special Education for the State of Texas. 

I was born in Greenville, Mississippi and my family moved to Guatemala when I was four months old where I grew up and completed High School before moving to Texas. My husband is a native Texan, and a former Communications Officer in the Marine Corps who graduated from A&M.  I have two sons.  One is a band director and the other is currently attending college. Our weenie dog is named Bubbles! 

I thoroughly enjoy working with your children, and look forward to teaching them and learning from them!

Mi nombre es Mandy Ball y este año estaré enseñando en el programa de Lenguaje Dual en Kindergarten.

Aprendí a hablar español desde niña ya que crecí en Guatemala. Además he sido maestra por 22 años enseñando a niños de primaria en un aula bilingüe. Mis certificaciones incluyen educación bilingüe y ESL (inglés como segundo idioma), español y educación especial para el estado de Texas.

Nací en Greenville, Mississippi y mi familia se mudó a Guatemala cuando tenía cuatro meses, donde crecí y terminé la escuela secundaria antes de mudarme a Texas. Mi esposo es nativo de Texas y un ex oficial de comunicaciones en el Cuerpo de Marinos de EEUU y es graduado de A&M. Tengo dos hijos. Uno es director de banda y el otro actualmente asiste a la universidad. ¡Nuestra perrita salchicha se llama Bubbles!
