Hello!

I am Miss Smith, and I will be your World Cultures Teacher. I previously taught 4th and 5th grade at Lakeview Elementary and am very excited to begin this middle school journey with all of you! 

I am a Baylor graduate and have lived in Madrid, Spain, where I traveled through Europe. While in Spain, I attended an international school with students from all over the world and traveled to other Spanish cities and European countries.  I continued my love of dance while abroad by performing traditional Spanish styles.  I hope my love for other cultures and this beautiful world will transcend into the classroom and ignite an interest in all of you!

When I’m not teaching, you can find me working out, going to the movies, or traveling to fulfill my adventurous heart.  My absolute favorite thing to do is cook!  I love to try new homemade recipes and am a self-proclaimed chef.
