Hello!

My name is Coach Swinney. I am beginning my 7th year at Little Elm High School and 12th overall. I am the Head Girls Soccer Coach/ Girls Athletic Coordinator and teach Sociology. I served as the Social Studies Department Chair for 3 years and have taught World History, World Geography,US History, and AP Government. I have also coached football, baseball, and track at the high school level. 

I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and minor in Criminal Justice.

My wife, Erin, is a teacher in Frisco. Our son, Jackson, is in 4th Grade and our daughter, Payton, is in 2nd grade this year. Our youngest, Kamdyn, has just turned 2!

I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, sports, concerts, and going to the movies. 

My goal is to empower my students, make a difference, and build strong relationships. I look forward to the challenges this year will present, and the opportunity to prepare our students to become leaders in the classroom and the community!
