My name is Bahaa Housni and this is my 20th year of teaching. I began as a computer engineer at Essex County College, New Jersey, but shortly discovered my passion for learning and teaching. I started my teaching career at Essex county college as well, as a part-time adjunct math and computer teacher. In 2003, I resigned from my IT job and started teaching full-time at UACHS, in Jersey City, New Jersey for 14 years. I served as the head of the math department during the last 6 years of my service. In August 2017, I moved to Texas after my husband's job relocation. Before working at LEHS, I was a student at UTA, I was teaching part-time at Collin College, GradePower Learning Center, and Y-Z Learning Center. 

I’m happily married and we have 4 boys, a sophomore at UTD, twin seniors, and a 4-year-old Texan. I love to travel to Morocco, where my parents and all my siblings live. In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my little one, baking Moroccan treats, watching my teens' soccer games, and solving Math riddles.
