Mrs. Margie Fitzgerald

I am excited to be a part of opening Jerry R. Walker Middle School this year.  This is my first year in Little Elm ISD, I have spent the past 12 years teaching Texas History and U.S. History in Frisco ISD.  I am starting my 20th year in education and I am committed and passionate about leading our Lobos to become good citizens who are knowledgable and active participants in American democracy.  I am married to my wonderful husband Tom, at home we have two dogs (Roxy & Rusty).  We have a beautiful daughter, Kati & fantastic son-in-law, Derek.  I love spending time with my family, traveling, gardening, and being outdoors.  I also referee volleyball and umpire softball.

    Tutorials

    I have joint tutorials with Mr. Potyok every Wednesday & Thursday mornings from 8:15 am to 8:45 am.  Other tutorial times should be scheduled with Mrs. Fitzgerald as needed. 

     

    Grading Guidelines

    Daily work will be weighted at 60% and summative assessments will be weighted at 40%.  Students will have a minimum of 1 daily grade per week and  2-3 summative assessments per grading period (9 weeks).  If a student scores below 85% on a summative assessment they may schedule & attend a re-teach tutorial and then a attend a re-test tutorial to improve their score.
