Mrs. Hillary McEarchern - Special Education Inclusion/Resource Teacher

My name is Hillary McEarchern. I will be the new Special Education Inclusion and Resource Teacher, primarily for 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Special Education from Texas State University-San Marcos! Eat ‘Em Up Cats! Immediately after graduation, I started teaching Special Education in Killeen ISD, then onto Austin ISD for 5 years. I have also taught in Frisco ISD, but am most excited to say I have found my forever home in Little Elm ISD. I was lucky enough to be a paraprofessional in a Life Skills classroom at Lakeview Elementary during the 2020-2021 school year. I am so thrilled to have a classroom of my own again, and in the best elementary school in all of Little Elm! With this being my 10th year in education, I continue to believe that each and every student has the ability to learn and grow, no matter what!

A little about me, I was born and raised in a little town just north of here called Muenster, Texas. I currently live in Little Elm with my husband, 7-years-old son (2nd grader at Lakeview), and 3-year-old son. We also have an 9 year old Chocolate Labrador, named Stark and a Red-Eared Slider Turtle, named Sheldon. As a family we love to swim, play game night, have movie night (popcorn is a must have), and just hang out with each other. I live a pretty simple lifestyle and am very much a homebody. My hobbies include baking, cooking, swimming, and playing with my boys as much as I can. I look forward to getting to know your child and your family!
