Hello! My name is Belinda Mcknight and I am the 4th grade Dual Language: English teacher. I look forward to making many wonderful memories with my amazing students. I am from Edinburg, a city located at the tip of Texas in the Rio Grande Valley, and graduated from the University of Texas-Pan American with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2003. I was a 3rd grade teacher for 4 years with Mission CISD and a 3rd and 4th grade teacher for 13 years with Edinburg CISD. With 18 years teaching experience, I am still as motivated and enthusiastic in the classroom as my first year! My husband is a middle science teacher and we have two energetic boys, Riley in 9th grade and Patrick in 3rd grade. We also have two adorable cats, Iris and Ivory. We love to spend time visiting family and taking trips around the U.S.
