My name is Stephanie McKinney and I am the Reading Specialist at Brent Elementary. Together, I know we will engage, equip, and empower your child to reach their full potential.

This begins my 14th year in education. I have experience teaching in both general and special education. I also have training in specific reading interventions. I attended the University of North Texas and received my degree in Development and Family Studies. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, traveling, and coaching my son’s soccer team.
