Hi! My name is Kayla Anderson and I am a first grade teacher here at Hackberry Elementary! I graduated from Texas Woman's University with my degree in Bachelors of Science in EC-6. I grew up in Corinth, which is where I currently reside! I am engaged to my wonderful fiance, Brandt! We are getting married on November 19th, and I will be Mrs. Smith! We have a very sweet and energetic pup named Regan who is a German Shepherd mix. In my free time, I love to bake and cook, drink iced coffee, and spend time with my loved ones. I have been passionate about teaching since I was young, and I am so happy to be a part of the Hackberry famiLE! I can't wait to meet you and get to know you! It's going to be a GREAT year! 

A few of my favorite things: Food: Chick-Fil-A, Chipotle, anything with Mexican food, pizza. Drinks: iced coffee, specifically, an iced Caramel Macchiato is my all time favorite and Dr. Pepper is my favorite soda. Candy: Gummy bears/worms, Starburt, and all things chocolate with no nuts. Snack: Cheez Its, fruit, Hot Cheetos (my fave!!), any chip really. Salty snacks are my favorite! Stores/Shop: Target, Amazon, Bath & Body Works, Barnes & Noble. Things I love: citrus and fruity scents, candles, movies, reading, cooking and baking.
