Hello! My name is Amy Anderson and I am a second grade dual language teacher at OPE this school year.

A bit about me: I grew up in Chicago, IL and have been teaching for seven years. I have a Masters in Education and have taught in Illinois, California, and now – Texas! This will be my second year at OPE. My fiancé and I moved to Texas in July of 2021 to be closer to family. I am so grateful to be part of such a loving and welcoming community!

Teaching is my absolute passion. I am here to help all students I come in contact with at OPE grow socially, emotionally, and academically. It is truly a privilege to be a part of any child’s educational journey, so please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns this school year.
