Christine Gibson, Principal

Ms. Christine Gibson serves the students of Little Elm ISD as the principal at Prestwick STEM Academy. Most recently, she served as assistant principal of Hackberry Elementary School. Gibson joined Little Elm ISD in 2004 as Bilingual Pre-Kindergarten 3 year old teacher at King Early Learning Academy. She later served at Hackberry Elementary as a Bilingual Kindergarten teacher.

Prior to joining Little Elm ISD, Ms. Gibson worked with El Paso Independent School District as a kindergarten teacher at Milam Elementary School located on Biggs Army Airfield.  She then moved to Dallas/Fort Worth and earned her Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to joining the district, Gibson worked with children with disabilities, birth to three years, as an Early Intervention Specialist.


Ms. Gibson earned her Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Early Childhood Education from the University of Texas at El Paso.


She has been a resident of Little Elm for 13 years and now lives in Oak Point with her husband and five children.
