Hello! My name is Alma Peñaloza and I am a 4th grade dual language teacher at Oak Point Elementary this year. I will be teaching your child Spanish Language Arts and Reading. 

A bit about me: I graduated from Texas Woman's University with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a bilingual certification. I've been married to my husband for 15 years. We have two wonderful daughters; they both attend school here in LEISD. In our free time, we enjoy going on walks, camping, horseback riding...pretty much anything outdoorsy :)

I am so happy to have the opportunity to teach your child this school year. We will have an AMAZING year!

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Alma Peñaloza y este año soy maestra de lenguaje dual de cuarto grado en Oak Point Elementary. Estaré enseñándole a su hijo/a Artes del Lenguaje en Español y Lectura.

Un poco sobre mí: me gradué de la Universidad de Mujeres de Texas con una licenciatura en Estudios Interdisciplinarios con certificación bilingüe.  He estado casada con mi esposo durante 15 años. Tenemos dos hijas maravillosas, ambas asisten a la escuela en este distrito escolar. En nuestro tiempo libre nos gusta salir a caminar, ir de campamento, montar a caballo... cualquier actividad al aire libre :)

Estoy muy contenta de poder tener la oportunidad de enseñar a su hijo/a este año escolar. ¡Tendremos un año INCREÍBLE!
