Welcome to the library! I'm so excited to be the Library Media Specialist at Brent Elementary.

I began my teaching career in a high school Social Studies classroom in 2015. I quickly realized that elementary school was a better fit for me, and it has been my happy place since! I am so excited to make the transition from classroom teacher to teacher-librarian this school year.

I have two children: Alec and Oliver. They are incredibly energetic and loving twin boys who will be entering kindergarten this Fall. I also have a wrinkly bulldog named Calypso. Last but not least, I have the most fabulous husband in the whole wide world who I met during our time at Texas A&M University. Gig 'em Aggies! My hobbies include reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with family.

I am looking forward to the many fun and exciting activities we will be doing in the library this year!
