B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
Mr. Eric Douce
Hello! I'm Eric Douce (rhymes with house). I'll be teaching Algebra I this year, and I'm very excited about that. Algebra I is incredibly important since it is the building block for all other high school math classes. I've taught Algebra I and II, Geometry, and Precalculus in my 9 years of teaching.
I haven't always been a teacher. I originally got my degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas in Austin, where I graduated in 2003. I started my career as a product engineer right out of college. I have also been a computer consultant for a number of years, and my wife and I own a small business. Outside of working, I spend my time with my 2 beautiful boys and wife, play ice hockey, and try to exercise when possible. I live in the district where my oldest attends Hackberry Elementary school.
