Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelor of Fine Arts Art EC-12 English as a Second Language
Mrs. Lauren Briseño
I grew up in The Woodlands, Texas where I fell in love with art and volleyball. I attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor where I received my Bachelor's degree of Fine Arts with emphasis in Graphic Design, Photography and Typography. I also played on my college volleyball team and was the captain and starting outside hitter for two years, earning All-Conference first and second teams and winning the American Southwest Conference Championship in 2015. After college, I moved to North Dallas and worked for a few years as a graphic designer at a few companies while simultaneously coaching club volleyball at TAV and Frisco Flyers. Graphic design has always been a joy for me, but I never felt fulfilled in my jobs. I quit doing graphic design as a career and started substitute teaching in LEISD where I fell in love with the teaching profession. I got my alternative certification and was able to student teach at LEHS in the spring of 2022. I have been blessed to have gotten the position of Art Teacher and Varsity Assistant Volleyball Coach and Freshman A team Coach 2022-2023.
