Welcome Lobos!!! My Name is Gileyza Rodriguez and I will be working as a Special Education K-5 Inclusion/ Resource Teacher here at Oak Point Elementary. 

I worked as a Speech- Language Therapist providing therapy for elementary and middle school students for 2 years in Puerto Rico after graduating in 2015. When I moved to Texas with my husband and son, I became a Special Education Paraprofessional at Plano ISD, where I worked with students of various disabilities from K-5. After falling in love with the students and the job, I moved up to a teaching position where I worked as a Special Education Self-Contained Teacher for 3 years.

During my free time, I enjoy watching movies with my family. I love rainbows and drinking piña coladas.
