Hello! My name is Dena Glitzos, and I am a kindergarten teacher here at Hackberry. I'm looking forward to having your child in my class this year! For as long as I can remember, teaching has been a passion of mine. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and moved down to the Lone Star state in 2015 with my husband and two kids. Fun fact, I have lived in Israel and attended 5th-6th grade and my freshman year of high school there. 

I have been a part of the famiLE since 2016. My teaching career started this past school year as a student teacher at Hackebrry in the fall and then, as a kindergarten teacher in the spring semester. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at Grand Canyon University. 

I love hanging out with my family and creating fun memories. Cuddling on the couch watching a good movie or show, and getting lost in a good book.
