Ms. Nicole Petersen
Hello! My name is Nicole Petersen, and I teach Kindergarten here at Hackberry Elementary. I am excited to teach your child for this school year.
Having moved eleven times, I grew up loving traveling, exploring and trying new things from a young age.
My teaching journey began teaching at Preschool for four years, it instilled a love and desire to pursue elementary education.
When I am not at school, I am spending time with friends and family, being with my adorable niece, and being in nature. I have an adorable Golden Retriever.
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Texas Woman's University. Having student taught at Hackberry, I am so happy I get to be at this campus for my first year of teaching elementary.
My hobbies are writing, painting, reading, hiking, cooking, and traveling.
I attend International Christian Church in Flower Mound, where I love to connect and serve!
