My name is Ms. Dozier, and I'll be your teacher this school year.

Although there's not a lot of places besides North Texas I'd want to live I used to live in South Texas. I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, it's where my love for school and history began. I attended Collegiate Early College High School and received my associates. I moved to North Texas to go to the University of North Texas. During my time here, I adopted my pet, a cat named Marceline Twigs, met my current partner and earned my bachelors in history and certificate in education. After graduation, I relocated to Dallas to teach seventh grade Texas History. As a beginning teacher I had a blast and learned so much. Now I am ready to join los lobos in 2022. 

It was specifically my social studies classes and teachers in high school who helped me realize what I wanted to do in the future. One of my favorite classes was world geography, where I gained a better understanding of human systems and civilization. I hope to make this class engaging and packed full of knowledge. 

I look forward to the school year and learning about geography!
