Hello! My name is Sara Moore and I am so pleased to be your child's teacher this year! This is my 16th year of teaching. I have been in Little Elm ISD since 2006.  I spent my first five years at Hackberry and have been at Brent since 2010. I taught second grade for two years and I have been teaching first grade for the past fourteen years. First grade is the best grade because they achieve so much growth and I get to teach them how to read! I’m excited to start my fourth year teaching the English side of Dual Language! 

My husband, Gil, and I have been married since 2009. We live in Little Elm with our two cats, Sadie and Starbuck. In 2018 we were blessed to adopt a sweet boy named Josiah. He will turn 3 in October. He is the light of our lives! We are currently hosting a foreign exchange student named Nico from Madrid, Spain. 

In my free time I like to read, go to movies, and spend time with family and friends. I am also active in my church and serve as a youth counselor and in the nursery on Sunday mornings.
