Ms. Caren Graves - First Grade Teacher Prestwick Elementary

Hello and welcome to Prestwick Elementary First Grade. My name is Ms. Graves and I am super excited to be your child's First Grade teacher for this year!

I am looking forward to this amazing journey with my class this year! It is my plan to provide the students with an educationally challenging and fun experience. My goal is to engage, equip and empower my students every day to reach their full potential during their 1st grade year.

 I completed my Education degree at The University of Oklahoma (BOOMER SOONER) a Bachelors of Science in Education.  I am certified in ESL and endorsed in Gifted and Talented. I have been working in Little Elm for the past 16 years beginning at Hackberry Elementary and moving to Prestwick in 2014.

When I am not working I am enjoying family and friends. I am a proud mother of a daughter named Taylor and a son Blake. Taylor and Blake both live and work in the Frisco area and that makes for a happy mom.    I enjoy playing with my 2 dogs Finley, a yellow lab, and a rescue from Harricane Harvey named Harvey. He is a 128 pound Great Pyrenees mix or what I call a Pyrodor. I love to spend my Saturdays watching college football and gardening in my yard.
